Gothic And Lolita Psycho is a fun, comic book style action revenge film(sort of a low-rent Kill Bill without Tarantino's genius, of course; but if you feel like killing an hour and a half with a cute actress(Rina Akiyama-voted best butt in Japan a few years ago) this Japanese revenge blood and dismemberment fest is a thrill a minute.

After witnessing her mother's killing, Yuki(Akiyama) spends her time seeking revenge on the bad guys with well choreographed fight scenes and a cool black leather outfit. The only disappointment is no nudity, only much blood spouting from necks, arms & legs and every imaginable body part.

The Missouri Review, founded in 1978, is one of the most highly-regarded literary magazines in the United States and for the past twenty-five years we've upheld a reputation for finding and publishing the very best writers first. We are based at the University of Missouri and publish four issues each year. Each issue contains new fiction, poetry and essays. We also run interviews with famous authors and found-text features where we print never before published works such as a short story by William Faulkner or one of Tennessee Williams' plays. Recently we did a feature on famous rejection letters of novels such as Lolita and The Bell Jar.

Frommer's Tokyo

Frommer's Tokyo by Beth Reiber

Frommers | 2010 | ISBN: 0470537647 | 352 pages | PDF | 16 MB

* Our Frommer's Tokyo author has written about Japan for years, so she's able to provide valuable insights and advice. She'll steer you away from the touristy and the inauthentic and show you the real heart of the Land of the Rising Sun.
* This is a comprehensive guide to a fast-paced and often overwhelming city. You'll get complete and clear directions to navigate Tokyo's best neighborhoods, from the swanky shops in the Ginza district to the Imperial Palace (home of Japan's emperor) in the Hibiya district; to the sumo wrestling stadiums in the town of Ryogoku; to the elaborate "lolita" (baby doll) and "cosplay" (anime character) outfits you'll see teenagers wearing in the Harijuku district.
